Partners in Kind’s goal is to encourage storytellers to create content that aims to motivate audiences and generate a lasting social impact. Entries into the Summit Showdown are encouraged from all creators, whether from an established production company or an emerging storyteller.

Here are more details about the projects they are looking for:

FORMAT

  • Unscripted feature-length film or unscripted television series (episodic or limited series) grounded in innovation and untold perspectives of lived experiences
  • Issues of core impact that include but are not limited to: climate change/environmental advocacy, social justice, mental health/wellness, marginalized voices, women’s voices, etc.)
  • No budget constraints for proposal entry 

CONTENT MUST-HAVES

  • Opportunity for a measurable social impact campaign to align with the project - visit the Partners in Kind website for more information about The Rubric and how they evaluate pitch submissions
  • High-level execution of pitch materials
  • Culturally relevant with provocative storytelling
  • Eye-catching title to pique the interest of audiences and distributors alike

In addition to the entry form, entrants must submit a signed submission release form, a three-minute video sizzle reel or pitch and a one-page paper pitch to tell us more about their project.

Entrants do not require a registration to Realscreen Summit to enter. If selected as a finalist, you will receive a complimentary registration to the 2025 Realscreen Summit, as well as three (3) nights accommodation at the Intercontinental Miami, covering the nights of February 2, 3 and 4.  Transportation to the event will be the responsibility of the finalist.

Employees of Realscreen, its parent company Brunico Communications, and Partners in Kind are not permitted to enter.
